Job Description
Warwick Le Lagon Vanuatu is recruiting for the following position:
PURCHASING MANAGER
Interested candidates for the above position must have several years’ experience as Purchasing Manager in a Hotel or Resort and must have the following attributes:
- Must have a Degree in Accounting from a recognised tertiary institute or equivalent
- Responsible for purchasing of supplies required for efficient and economic operation of the resort; this will include miscellaneous items equipment known as “general stores”, food & beverage products and general maintenance
- Must have ability to secure competitive bids on supplies and equipment before placing orders
- Must have extensive knowledge in Exports, Imports and well versed with Customs procedures
- Must have ability to interview and meet Sales Representatives from companies to learn on new products, pricing and market trends
- Flexible with working hours with valid driver’s license.
