The Vanuatu Public Service Commission wishes to recruit an experience and qualified person to fill the position of Manager, VIPAM, Office of the Public Service Commission:

Grade: PS 9.1
Annual Salary: 3,408,300VT
Location: Port Vila
Applicants will be assessed against the following selection criteria:
Qualification – Master’s Degree in Education Administration, Public Administration or any other Human Resources Management and Development field.
Special Business Education – Demonstrate experience in dealing with training and development function such as: Training policies; Development of PS policies; HRO planning and its policies issues; Design and Implementation of Executive Development Program; Clear understanding of scholarship issues.
Experience – Demonstrate 3 years’ experience in managing an institution which deals with human resource development. 3 year experience in an executive level either Government or a recognized Private Institution with vast knowledge in the field of Human Resource policies and development.
Special skills – Policy development skills; Interpretation skills; Negotiation skills; Planning & Reporting skills; Analytical skills; Computer skills; Research skills.
Thinking style – Analytical and able to think theoretically and practically. A Visionary thinker
Communication – Very good presentation skills
Behavioral Competencies – Good character
Language – English, French and Bislama
