Job Description

Telecom Vanuatu Limited is seeking ICT Solutions Analyst to be based in Port-Vila.

Reporting to the Head of Sales & ICT Solutions, the ICT Solutions Analyst will be responsible for the design, costing and installation of Business solutions (PABX, IPBX, Cloud, WIFI, customized voice and data solution) for SME, Government and Corporate customer and provide support and coordinate with corporate sales team to answer all technical queries from customers. In addition, he/she will be coordinating with the level 2 call centre agents and technical team to ensure high level of customer satisfaction in service delivery and fault resolution.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design of Business solutions for all segments and present to Steerco for validation
  • Design and costing of customised solution with support of technical team
  • Prepare Sales brief for the Corporate Sales team
  • Prepare documentation for TVL record as well as for customer record
  • Ensure that all communications with customers are handled within the required time frame and to the organizational standards
  • Establish key relationships with corporate clients and agencies to ensure maximum exposure and increase revenue
  • To be proactive with locating and developing new business in line with the revenue and sales targets
  • To carry out customer visit in keeping customer satisfaction high and acquiring new business
  • To ensure personal presentation is of the highest standards at all times to project a professional image to clients
  • Managing level 2 call centre agents for fault and installation follow up and ensure high level of customer satisfaction
  • Coordinating with technical team to ensure that service delivery and fault resolution are as per committed time frame and SLA
  • Be aware of company policies, which affect the sales department
  • Have full knowledge of the product, services and solutions offered locally as well as in similar countries
  • To provide support and coaching to new team members within Corporate Sales Team
  • To manage projects until full implementation during the required time frame
  • Carry out other duties/ tasks outside normal routines but within the overall scope of the job
  • Be aware of the key trends in the market and take appropriate action
  • Have extensive knowledge of competitor business model and position accordingly.

Reports and deliverables:

  • Provide the Manager all reports at the required time:
    a. Weekly Report
    b. Monthly Report
    c. Annual Report

1. Qualification & Experience

  • Be a holder of an Engineering degree in Electronic and communication, Telecommunication or equivalent with least 2 years’ experience at that level or:
  • ICT graduate with at least 4 years’ experience in similar roles
  • Knowledge of Structured cabling, WiFi, WiMax, Microwave, Fibre and other radio solutions
  • Advantage for experience with UBNT, Motorola, RAD Airmux, IPPBX and link optimisation
  • Must be available to travel to outer islands if needed and work outside of normal working hours when needed
