The School of Law is seeking to appoint two Assistant Lecturers to teach in the Professional Diploma in Legal Practice (PDLP) program. Positions will be based either at Emalus Campus, Vanuatu or at Laucala Campus, Fiji. The appointee will be responsible for: coordinating courses in the PDLP program; delivering lectures and other teaching activities; assessing students’ work; participating in academic consultation and counselling; and contributing to the administration of the School.
The Person We Seek
To be considered for this position, applicants must have: Masters qualification in Common Law with professional experience; enrolled in the Postgraduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching (PGCTT) or equivalent; experience in legal practice in the Pacific region; and excellent undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in Common Law.
The position is available for a term of 5 years and may be renewed by mutual agreement.
Vanuatu – Assistant Lecturer VUV 3,948,965 to
VUV 4,738,758 per annum (Inclusive of 15% Gratuity);
Fiji – Assistant Lecturer FJ $ $57,988 to FJ $ $69,586 per annum
